CompEx (Competency in Explosive Atmospheres) is a globally recognised certification scheme that validates the competency of individuals working in potentially explosive or hazardous atmospheres. It is accredited to ISO/IEC 17024 and based on IEC 60079 and related standards.
The City & Guilds 18th Edition (2382) qualification ensures that electrical professionals are fully up to date with the UK national standard for electrical installations, BS 7671.
You will need to bring and wear your own suitable clothing and protective footwear (steel toe capped boots). We recommend overalls or long trousers with long sleeved top as the practical assessments are in a workshop environment. PPE such as safety glasses and gloves can be provided if required.
