NETA Training is delighted to announce that it is in the running for a Welding World Award 2018.

Delivering a wide range of technical training to industrial sectors, NETA Training has been nominated for the Best Welding Industry Training Provider.

Now the Stockton-based training provider needs your votes to help bring home the title, with voting open on the Welding World Awards website.

In its second year, the awards recognise the work of companies operating in the welding industry.

Founded in 1975, NETA Training has continued to grow its provision of services for four decades, now covering a diverse range of industrial sectors and services including welding, renewable energy, drilling and well completion, gas, health, safety and environment, scaffolding, mechanical jointing, engineering, offshore and petrochemical.

Committed to meeting the immediate and future needs of employers, NETA Training recently invested in £75,000 worth of high tech welding kit, including MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding sets, adding 10 brand new welding bays, including a state of the art fume extraction system, to its facility off Portrack Lane.

The new bays have enabled the company to offer greater availability to employers looking to train and test out welders in the region and beyond.

Delighted to be in the running for the Welding World Awards title, NETA Training’s commercial engineering co-ordinator, Iain Taylor, said: “It’s great to be nominated and with all the ongoing improvements currently underway at NETA, things can only get better.

“The expansion of our welding facilities offers a great chance to meet the growing demands of employers and individuals across the UK.”

Finalists will be invited to a glittering ceremony hosted by Eamonn Holmes at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham in April.
