We are so proud of all our students who have completed their T Level qualifications this year at NETA! Their hard work, commitment and determination have paid off, and we are excited to see the amazing opportunities ahead of them as they take their next steps. This year’s results reflect the effort our learners have put into both their studies and their industry placements, which form a vital part of the T Level programme. These real-world experiences not only build confidence and practical skills, but also provide the foundation for fantastic career and progression opportunities.
We caught up with some of our students to hear about their achievements and future plans, following a small celebration ceremony where NETA's Director, Sean, presented all of our first and second year T Level students with their qualification certificates. The students were joined by their family and friends, along with staff at NETA, all keen to congratulate them and wish them well on their next steps.
Alex, 18, achieved a distinction. He said he enjoyed his time at NETA, describing it as “a good laugh.” Alex has secured a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship with Sunbelt Rentals, starting this September. He was delighted to have his next steps sorted early in the year and is looking forward to gaining valuable experience. His ambition is to work his way up into project management, something he feels his learning at NETA has prepared him for. Alex’s advice for future students is that although the T Level involves a lot of theory, it’s worth it for the work experience and the qualification, which is the equivalent of three A Levels.
Oscar, 18, achieved a merit. He said the best part of his time at NETA was the social side of college life. Oscar is now moving on to the Royal Air Force with aspirations of becoming an Aircraft Mechanic.
Jack, 18, also achieved a merit. He described his result as meaning “everything” to him and is looking forward to building a successful career. He especially enjoyed the learning on his course and is excited about the future.
Lennon and Lewis also passed their T Levels. Lennon said his time at NETA was good and he is progressing onto an apprenticeship to continue developing his engineering knowledge. Lewis hopes his qualification will also help him secure an apprenticeship. He said he enjoyed the fun and interesting environment at NETA, especially the practical side of the course, and feels well-prepared for his future with an ambition to gain a well-paid job in engineering.
Reflecting on this year’s success, Rory, Curriculum Manager at NETA, said:
“I am so proud of our students for completing their T Levels. They have worked so hard, shown real dedication, and put in a huge amount of time and effort to achieve these results. We are also incredibly grateful to the companies who have supported us in delivering industry placements – these experiences have been invaluable to our learners. I’m really excited to see the next steps our students will take, and I know they have bright futures ahead.”
We are proud of all our T Level students and wish them every success in their next steps. Their achievements highlight the hard work and resilience they have shown during their time at NETA, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.
