Whether students are looking to find employment, gain an apprenticeship or attend university when they leave us our structured careers programme aims to support students to make an informed decision about their next steps after NETA.

The CEIAG programme is linked to the 2017 Gatsby Careers Guidance Benchmarks (GCGB) and meets the relevant Careers Development Institute (CDI) framework. Students have access to accurate, up-to date careers guidance that:

  • Is presented in an impartial manner;
  • Enables learners to make informed choices about a range of career options;
  • Encourages learners to fulfil their potential.

The programme is delivered by a range of staff including:

  • Personal Progression Coordinators;
  • Lecturers (Industry experts);
  • Qualified & Impartial Careers Advisers
  • The Apprenticeship Services team.

In addition we work with a wide variety of outside agencies/partners including:

  • Higher Education Institutions;
  • Employers/Industry Experts;
  • National Careers Service;
  • Partner Agencies;
  • Other Young People’s Support Services.

Our Careers Education, Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG) programme is fully supported by our Governors, Senior Management Team (SMT) and our onsite Careers Advisor.
