A fantastic achievement has been celebrated at NETA Training as four of our scaffolding apprentices successfully completed their End Point Assessment (EPA) with an outstanding 100% pass rate.

The group, who have trained at NETA’s new All Access Academy, have spent the last two years developing their skills, knowledge and confidence ahead of their final assessment. Each apprentice shared their thoughts on their training experience with NETA on the journey to their EPA success.

Everyone spoke about how valuable their apprenticeship experience has been. William (35), from Elite Scaffolding, said: “It has been a great experience throughout, the instructors have been amazing and delivered the course professionally.” Another apprentice, D’nell, also explained that his apprenticeship had been “very educating and detailed.”

As they prepare to move onto the next stage of their careers, some are staying with the company they are already with to gain more experience, while some are moving on to bigger jobs and independent work.

When asked why they chose to study at NETA, the group highlighted both the reputation of the training and the support they have received from their instructors. D’nell (22), from Elite Scaffolding told us, “NETA have a good reputation, they are a nice college and are leading representatives.” Another apprentice said he received “good word of mouth from close friends”.

They also praised the All Access Academy, with its industry-standard facilities and dedicated scaffolding training areas. Michael (22), from Multitask said: “I think the academy is great and has a lot more to offer.” Jake (21), from Maclean Scaffolding added: “It has been helpful towards my learning.”

Scaffolding instructor Peter Woods commented on the groups hard work and professionalism, saying: “This group has been great to train, they all work well together, showing good scaffolding skills and communicating effectively which is essential in this trade. I have been trying to simulate real-world conditions to try and prepare the apprentices, using on site methods to replicate work scenarios.”

This 100% pass rate is a testament to the commitment of these apprentices and the level of high-quality training we deliver here at NETA. The success of this cohort marks another step forward in supporting the next generation of skilled scaffolders through the All Access Academy.
