Introduction

The Energy Transfer Technician (ETT) Programme is a 2-year course sponsored by the ECITB and is aimed at those who have already completed a Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in an Engineering Discipline. The selected students will then study the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to enable them to progress into the Energy Sector as a direct hire or a higher apprenticeship.

What will you do

While at NETA you will study towards achieving a Level 4 BTEC HNC in Engineering with additional units that will relate to the Energy Sector, undertake two competency NVQ level 3 Diplomas (Electrical and Mechanical), commence a Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management, ECITB Supervisor Training modules, MJI Joint Integrity course and the ECITB Digital Passport. You will also attend Employer workshops and placements where applicable.

Employment within the Energy Sector either as a direct hire or as a higher level apprentice.
