CMDDA1 Carbon

Monoxide / Dioxide

Atmosphere Appliance

Testing

Logic Approved, 2 day course.

Each year around 200 people are admitted into hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning and around 40 of those admitted die. (Source: www.nhs.uk)

What causes carbon monoxide to leak?

Incorrectly installed, poorly maintained or poorly ventilated household appliances – such as gas cookers, heaters and central heating boilers – are the most common sources of carbon monoxide.

This course is suitable for Gas Engineers who are required to test homes for Carbon Monoxide leakage and investigate & identify the cause.

NETA Opens Additional Scaffolding Facility at Teesport

Due to the outstanding success of its commercial scaffolding business and its Train To Gain contract NETA has opened an addition training facility at its Teesport site to keep pace with the demand. The new centre opening in November will initially provide CISRS Card Scheme scaffolding training to Parts 1, 2 and 3 and NVQ levels 2 and 3. Future development will include system scaffold, PASMA, aluminium mobile towers and scaffolding inspection.

NETA to Provide Health and Safety Test for CISRS Card

The Construction Skills Health & Safety Test is the industry standard, taken by over 500,000 people every year. It is designed to ensure everybody working in construction has a minimum level of health and safety awareness.Passing the test is an essential part of qualifying for the major card schemes such as CISRS (The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).

NETA will shortly be opening a facility at its Stockton on Tees site for the those wishing to take the online test.
