We have worked with leading providers to give you the opportunity to purchase the IT equipment you need for your studies, in a more affordable way.

You can use your own device to access your coursework, but if you need a new laptop, we have worked with a major educational provider to support you in getting hold of relevant machines.

You can, or course, purchase your IT equipment from other places – it is totally your choice.

*Financial Support – Learners meeting certain criteria (household income (less than £25k), continued attendance, length / level of course and whether those courses are in ‘priority’ provision) could receive a monthly financial contribution towards IT equipment, paid directly to you from college – you will need to apply for learner support funding through student services.

Long term loan – long term loan provision of college owned devices.
If you are unable to purchase your own IT equipment, we can potentially support with our long term loan service. Eligibility is determined by Student Services and managed and issued through Group LRC services. To ensure you still entitled to your loaned equipment, you must continue to attend college and take part in learning sessions. You will not own the item and will be expected to return the devices to IT periodically for inspection (either termly or ½ termly) and maintenance.

Internet Access: Some learners may be eligible for financial support to home internet.
