Level 3 Portfolio Assessment

The law requires that any individual wishing to erect, alter or dismantle scaffolding must be able to prove their competency. The industry-wide accepted proof of competency for operatives is to hold a CISRS Scaffold card. To be eligible to apply for this card, candidates must successfully complete the following elements of training, all of which are available at NETA:

  • CISRS Advanced
  • Level 3 QCF National Diploma in Accessing Operations & Rigging (Construction) Scaffolding
  • CISRS Advanced Skills Test

To provide the delegate with the relevant information to help them achieve the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Accessing Operations & Rigging (Construction).

Delegates must have successfully completed a tube and fitting Advanced CISRS scaffolding course and must be able to be able to provide evidence of this training in the form of certificates. If you attended your Advanced at another training centre, you will be required to attend and successfully complete a three day Level 3 Portfolio Build, which is now sold as package and includes one Level 3 Onsite Assessment/Witness Statement service and one Level 3 Portfolio Assessment. As part of the package, delegates will be issued with a blank NVQ portfolio and receive an NVQ induction from our Assessor. During the induction the Assessor will answer any questions and help delegates to make a start on the job knowledge questions in their portfolio. Our Assessor may also carry out a professional discussion. Delegates will then be expected to complete the portfolio in their own time; their Assessor will be available to provide information, advice and guidance via telephone or email.

Any physical impairment or literacy issues should be discussed during the booking stage to ensure we can best accommodate your needs.
