What will I do:

While in centre, you will do practical study in;

  • General Health & Safety
  • Health and Safety Passport (CCNSG)
  • Basic power tools/ hand tools
  • Applying for jobs, CV writing and interview techniques
  • Cutting and shaping
  • Turning / Milling
  • Welding
  • Gas cutting
  • Plating

Hands on experience in difference ECI disciplines, these could include :

  • Fabrication & Welding
  • Electrical Installation
  • Design & Draughting
  • Mechanical Installation

You need:

GCSE in English, Maths and Science at grades 5+

What’s next:

You could move on to level 3 Engineering apprenticeship or progress to higher level Engineering qualification.
