Passionate about raising the profile of the North East, NETA is often the forerunner in the delivery of new ground-breaking training, regularly the first to invest in the training needs of today and instrumental in bringing to the area training courses previously unavailable to the local workforce.

We work closely with a number of organisations such as the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), Connexions and Jobcentre Plus to provide training opportunities for disadvantaged groups, young people, adults and the long term unemployed.

Government funded initiatives such as New Deal and Adult Training are designed to provide the practical skills and knowledge required by individuals to get back into work.

NETA is also an access point for learndirect allowing people to access a network of online learning and information services. So that they may learn at home at their own pace for qualifications in many different subject areas.
