Each year around 300,000 young people between the ages of 16 and 24 choose to undertake an Apprenticeship. They choose to earn money and learn at the same time. An Apprenticeship allows them to combine real work experience with studying for relevant qualifications and getting paid as well.

Apprenticeships are designed to train young people for industry, allowing them to learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills. Apprenticeships ensure that they achieve their full potential by gaining recognised qualifications and relevant workplace skills.
There are two levels of Apprenticeship available:
- An Apprenticeship will lead to an NVQ level 2 qualification, key skills qualifications and Technical Certificates.
- An Advanced Apprenticeship will lead to an NVQ level 3 qualification, key skills qualifications and Technical Certificates.
NETA is recognise as one of the country's leading providers of vocational skills training and is a Centre of Vocational Excellence for engineering construction. We have been providing apprentice training since 1975 and many of today's craftsmen did their initial training with us.
Each year NETA recruits apprentices for major UK based companies, delivering training that will allow them to become a valued member of the workforce and to develop a career in their chosen field.
