Rigging / Lifting & Slinging

Rigging, Lifting & Slinging operations on Construction and Engineering sites are carried out worldwide on a daily basis.

Unfortunately the results when things go wrong can be both dangerous and catastrophic to lives and equipment.

The Construction and Engineering industries now recognise that employers must ensure their employees are competent to carry out these activities and have worked with NETA to develop an outstanding training facility and programme that meets with industry standards.

Our aim is to enhance the skills for personnel who perform Rigging, Lifting & Slinging activities using Lifting Equipment and Lifting Accessories to the recognised industry standards, including the current Rigging/Moving Loads Regulations and Legislation.

We promote best industry practice in Rigging, Slinging & Lifting methodology and Inspection of Equipment and work to the requirements of Safe Use of Lifting Equipment (LOLER).

NETA offer a wide range of Rigging, Lifting & Slinging courses to suit all levels of experience and knowledge such as Basic Rigging Skills and Appointed Person.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer tailored courses to suit client’s requirements such as refresher training, slight adjustments to our standard courses or completely new bespoke training courses to suit operational needs.

We can also offer Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) courses which whilst being similar to our own are globally recognised. LEEA have been the leading authority and representative body for those involved in Lifting operations for over 70 years across the world.
