Direct Gas Appliances (CDGA:1)

To provide operatives with the theoretic knowledge to safely, strip down, maintain / repair and re-commission commercial appliances fitted with both atmospheric and forced draught burners.

Pre-Requisite
Candidates must have a current certificate for CORT1, CIGA1 and ICAE1 which is within 3 months of the issue date.

Course Duration
½ day (assessment only).

Maximum Number
8 persons

Training Aids
Lecture notes, audio visual presentation and a range of domestic gas appliances and models.

Assessment
The learner will be assessed by a written and practical test in line with ACS scheme requirements.

Certification
On successful completion of the course candidates will receive CDGA:1 Commission and Service of Direct Fired Heaters qualification.
